DUNYA NEWS, ISLAMABAD, 30th SEPTEMBER 2013:- Opposition Leader‚ Syed Khurshid Shah has demanded of the government to implement the decisions made in the All Parties Conference as terrorism is on the rise.

In a statement on Sunday‚ he suggested the government to take bold steps either by holding result-oriented dialogue with Taliban or to choose other way to cope with the situation.

Condemning Peshawar blast‚ Khurshid Shah said that opposition extended unconditional support to the government in order to get rid from the menace of terrorism.

It is to mention here that an all parties conference headed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was held in Islamabad on September 9.

The APC had adopted a joint communiqué calling to initiate result-oriented peaceful dialogue process to eliminate extremism from the country.

The Joint Communique was signed by all the participants. It said there will be no compromise on Pakistan sovereignty and integrity.

It was also agreed that the cooperation of religio-political parties would be sought to facilitate talks with various groups.

It was also agreed that federal government and provincial governments would coordinate in order to bring normalcy in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
However, it was decided that action would be taken against those groups that refused to become the part of peace process.

Regarding the drone attacks, APC declaration said that the matter would be taken up with the United Nations Security Council.
