DUNYA NEWS, ISLAMABAD (Online), 12th SEPTEMBER 2013:- President Mamnoon Hussain, Wednesday, summoned the session of the Lower House of the Parliament on Monday.
President summoned the 5th session of the incumbent assembly on the advice of Prime Minister.
The session is likely to be dominated by hot debates on prevailing law and order situation in the country. Issues like ongoing targeted operation in
Karachi, law and order situation in Balochistan and proposed course of talks with Taliban by the All Parties’ Conference will dominate the proceedings of the House.
Besides debate on burning issues, opposition may also raise point of proposed meeting between Pakistani and Indian leadership on the sideline of United Nations’ General Assembly meeting. It may include meeting between Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz with his Indian counterpart and Premiers of the both countries.
